FAQ

Second trip — which region?

Whichever the first trip skipped: usually the North if you did islands, islands if you did culture — or Isaan if you're ready to graduate early.

Seasons in one line?

Cool (Nov–Feb) = golden window; hot (Mar–May) = islands and pools; rainy (May–Oct) = green, soft-priced, afternoon-shower rhythm. Details and the two-coast trick.

How long per region?

A week per region is the honest pace; two regions per fortnight maximum. Transit days are the tax on greed. Templates.

Is Thailand good solo?

Among the world's best — infrastructure, safety by global standards, and a social road culture. Ordinary awareness applies; the country does the rest.

Budget, honestly?

Thailand scales to almost any budget — street-food-and-guesthouse travel remains famously cheap; comfort tiers are excellent value. We don't print numbers (they age badly): check current costs close to travel.

Do I need Thai?

Need, no. Reward, enormous — twenty words per trip is the craft rule.

Phuket: overrated or underrated?

Both, by zone — which is why it gets a whole sister site: Phuket Addicts.
