Thailand Addicts is written for the incurable — travellers on trip three, five, or fifteen, who love the country enough to want to know it properly.

How we write

• Evergreen by design: regions, seasons, culture and craft — the things that stay true. Prices, visa rules and opening hours go stale in months, so we point you at official sources for those instead of pretending (visa basics and money both say this outright);
• Honest over promotional: burning season gets named, hot season gets respected, and no destination is “hidden” or “secret” — Thailand has no secrets, only places people haven't bothered with yet;
• Respect first: the culture guidance follows Thai custom, not travel-content fashion, and the same instinct extends into how we cover responsible travel and wildlife tourism.

What's covered

Two layers, deliberately kept distinct: the geography and rhythm of the country — regions, seasons, festivals, food — and the practical layer that actually gets a trip booked and run well — money, visas, health, where to stay, transport. The craft page ties both layers together into the habits that separate a first trip from a fifth one.

Who this is for

Not first-time visitors researching whether to book a flight — plenty of other guides do that job well. This site assumes you've already fallen for the country and are working out what to do with that. If a page here reads like it's skipping the basics of “is Thailand safe” or “what should my first week look like,” that's deliberate; the audience is trip three onward, and the practical pages (money, visas, health) are written with that same assumption of some prior experience, even while covering the fundamentals honestly.
